So Thursday I went hackin(That's for ole Natalie Mulhall who gets the first shout out). I hiked up to the top of Yosemite Falls and it was gorgeous. But the hike was pretty rough itself. 3.5 miles horizontally to the falls which is not bad, but about 3,000 feet in elevation, which was pretty rough, but well worth it. We even had to trudge through some snow to get to Yosemite Point. It had some pretty incredible views. It's pretty interesting when you can say "Oh, my God" without using God's name wrongly.
Today I had my first day of work. Yeah, I'm a housekeeper but it's really not all that bad. You just kinda get in a routine and you're pretty much set. I also met up with the pastor today who will be working with us for the summer. Our services should start up on the Memorial Day weekend. So that should be pretty interesting.

ReplyDeleteMan, I am pretty jealous right about now. Those pictures really make me want to go be a housekeeper. I'm praying for you. By the way, I get to go to Rocky Mountain National Park in June. I am so pumped.

ReplyDeleteI'm still having a hard time picturing you as a housekeeper though. :) I keep having these flashbacks of when we were kids - Mom making us clean the bathrooms over and over because we didn't do it "right". I hope your boss isn't as tough as she was! haha. Mom, if you're reading this - you know I love ya! ;)
